The Kosovo national football team has already moved up a rank in the Nations League, entering League B of this competition after defeating Iceland in two matches in the playoff match, reports KosovaPress.

This, besides being a historic achievement in terms of sports, will also bring significant financial income to Kosovo, namely the Football Federation (FFK), writes KosovaPress.

According to UEFA rules, teams competing in League B receive 1.5 million euros, a figure that is quite high for a federation like Kosovo. This income is now guaranteed after such a decision came from UEFA in 2018.

It is worth noting that the overall winner of the UEFA Nations League, after the final tournament, will receive 10.5 million euros.
