Misinformative election pre-campaign has started on social media. Hybrid. Info has analyzed 55 misinformation content for the month of October, where fake news was the most frequent form of misinformation.

The researcher at Hibrid.info, Festim Rizanaj said that the misinformation is continuing this month as well.

"During the month of October, 55 contents are treated as part of the monitoring. Fake news was the category of misinformation that dominated during the month of October, all of these were found on tik tok. Fraud continues with 16 percent, disinformation ranks third with 11 percent. Of all the categories I mentioned, they have dominated social networks", said Rizanaj.

He added that 18 percent of publishers are the media, while adding that Prime Minister Albin Kuri is the most talked about figure in October.

"We have a misinformation pre-election campaign. If we do a calculation, during the month of August it was 23 percent, in October 38 percent, it was misinformation on tik tok", he added.

Furthermore, Fatbardh Dema, who is a fact checker, emphasized that they have verified 14 fake polls

"Since August 16, when President Osmani set the date for elections, Hybrid has verified 14 fake polls. There were old polls that were returned as current. While, from January 1 to August 16, there were six fake polls the oar," said Dema.
