Former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Abdullah Hoti, expressed dissatisfaction with the number of votes that the Democratic League of Kosovo received in the February 9 elections, and also requested new leadership in this party.

But, this reaction of Hoti is being assessed by political experts as a selfish request, which harms this party.

Political expert, Arbnor Sadiku for KosovaPress, believes that Hoti's dissatisfaction is a kind of bitterness towards the mayor, Lumir Abdixhiku because it didn't involve them that much.

He even considers his request for a new leadership in the LDK as selfish.

Political scientist Sadiku says that LDK vice president Avdullah Hoti is being misused by several groups that are part of LDK and were attacked by the reforms brought by the current leader.

For Blerim Burjani, the reason for this dissatisfaction expressed by Hoti came from the fear that he could not survive politically with the changes that have occurred in the Democratic League of Kosovo.

Anton Quni from the Democratic League of Kosovo says about KosovaPress, that he does not understand Avdullah Hoti's reaction, because as he stated, these issues should be dealt with within the house.

KosovaPress has contacted the former Minister of Internal Affairs from the LDK, Agim Veliu, but has not received any response.

Against Hoti's request for new leadership in LDK in defense of the current leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku The vice president, Lufti Haziri, Duarsa Kica and Gazmend Muhaxhiri emerged.

In the February 9 general elections, the Democratic League of Kosovo ranked third with a total of 171,357 votes or 18.27%.
