Taulant Hodaj has severed his cooperation with the Kosovo Football Federation, where he was a lawyer and legal representative of this federation.
He said on Facebook that he had disagreements with the leaders of the FFK over a series of events and practices "repeated by the FFK that were contrary to its professional principles."
"With regret, but also with a sense of professional responsibility, I have today informed the president of the Football Federation of Kosovo of the decision to terminate my cooperation as a lawyer and legal representative of the FFK. This decision came after a series of events and repeated practices by the FFK that have been contrary to my professional principles, especially in relation to the obstacles and different approaches to representing the case in CAS Lausanne against Romania," Hodaj wrote, followed by KosovaPress.
Hodaj said that with such an approach, FFK will damage its chances of winning the case at the Court of Arbitration for Sport for the match against Romania, which was interrupted in extra time due to racist chants from Romanian fans.
"I believe that this approach by the FFK will damage Kosovo's chances of winning the case and protecting the rights and reputation of the footballers and the national team. The FFK has been notified of this and other key reasons for the termination of cooperation," said Hodaj. In the past, Hodaj had also worked as the acting secretary general of the Kosovo Football Federation.
