The Democratic Party of Kosovo's candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, met on Sunday with the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku.

This is what KosovaPress has learned, according to sources in the two political parties.

This is the first meeting between Hamza and Abdixhikut after the parliamentary elections of February 9.

PDK, with Hamza as its candidate for prime minister, came second in the February 9 elections, while LDK came third.

Immediately after the elections, Hamza expressed his openness to meetings with the leaders of opposition parties, indicating his willingness to form a government if it were his turn as the second in command, but not in coalition with the Vetëvendosje Movement.
