Footballer Erling Haaland could spend a day in jail the next time he comes to Switzerland for an unpaid fine of 60 francs.

The Norwegian striker, who earns around half a million euros a week, will avoid this penalty if he makes the payment before arriving in the country.

His father Alf-Inge lives in Switzerland, so newspaper Blick says Haaland could be a day late for the family Christmas gathering if he doesn't make the necessary payments to the canton of Vaud.

It is added that such a thing is not realistic to expect, so that Haaland will surely solve the problem before arriving in Switzerland.

Haaland has a contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2027.
