The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has called the approval of the Draft Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Public Officials by the Government of Kosovo scandalous and unconstitutional.

The Coordinator for Justice within the Cabinet for Good Governance of the PDK, Parparim Gruda, in a press conference said that the approval of this draft law is a clear tendency of the Government of Kosovo to avoid the implementation of the judgment of the Constitutional Court and to pave the way for filling the state administration with party militants.

Gruda emphasized that if this law also passes the assembly, the PDK will bring this case to the Constitutional Court, for which he expressed his conviction that it will be declared unconstitutional.

Among other things, Gruda emphasized that the fact that the government has not implemented a judgment of the Constitutional Court, shows that Kosovo has entered a new phase of violation of the Constitution.

He added that now, not only are the norms written in the Constitution violated, but the interpretations given by the Constitutional Court through its judgments are violated and not implemented.

In addition, the coordinator for Justice of the KQM in PDK, Përparim Gruda has expressed concern regarding the recent raids by the Specialized Chambers of The Hague in the homes of Sylejman Selim and Hajredin Kuqi, including the interview of Sami Lushtak by EULEX yesterday. .

Gruda has called these actions of the Specialized Chambers a spectacle, while saying that the PDK demands that the latter stop this persecution campaign.

Meanwhile, at the very end, when asked by journalists about the report yesterday (Friday) by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), that on April 21 there will be a vote for the removal of the mayors in the north, Gruda said that it is not possible that a vote in form of referendum to take place without an announcement from the president, until he added that the PDK will not be part of this process./Mr. Zeneli/
