The Kosovo national football team aims to advance to League B of the Nations League through the play-off matches.

To achieve this objective, the Dardanians must prove more successful than Iceland in the two matches that will take place between them within three days.

The first duel takes place tomorrow at "Fadil Vokrri" in Pristina starting at 20:45 and before the match, coach Franco Foda said in a press conference that midfielder Valon Berisha and defender Amir Rrahmani are still recovering from injuries.

The Dardanian coach emphasized that he will ask his players to put pressure on Iceland from the first minute of the match.

Kosovo winger Milot Rashica said that Iceland is a very strong rival, but that the team knows its own qualities and is ready to give its best.

Rashica added that the dream of all Kosovo footballers is to qualify for a European or World Championship, but that matches like this are also very important, reports KosovaPress.

Otherwise, 12 tickets have already been sold for the Kosovo-Iceland match and the atmosphere in the stands is expected to be fiery in support of the Dardanians.
