The ambassadors of the member countries of the European Union agreed today on the 15th package of sanctions against Russia, which will be officially confirmed by the foreign ministers on Monday.

The new sanctions include restrictive measures for nearly 50 ships of third countries that support Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as added persons and legal entities, announced the Presidency of Hungary.

The new decision extends for another six months the possibility of the Czech Republic to import oil products from Russia through Slovakia.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, welcomed the decision in X.

"I welcome the passage of the 15th package of sanctions that specifically targets the Russian clandestine fleet," she wrote.
