Democracy in Action (DnV) has published the preliminary results for today's elections in Kosovo.
Eugen Cakolli from KDI, part of Democracy in Action, in a press conference, assessed that the voting process took place in a calm atmosphere and without major incidents.
According to preliminary data, the overall voter turnout was 42.1%, marking a decrease of about 4% compared to previous elections, excluding conditional votes and those from the diaspora.
"Democracy in Action estimates that the voting took place in a calm atmosphere. The overall voter turnout is 42.1% with a margin of error of 0.84 percent. Conditional votes and those cast abroad, or by mail in Kosovo, are not counted in these elections. In terms of turnout, we have a decrease of about 4% lower than in 2021... Based on statistics, the first subject is LVV 40.4% with a margin of error of 1.44 percent, PDK 21.7% with a margin of error of 1.45 percent, LDK 17.5% with a margin of error of 0.97 percent, AAK-NISMA, Intellectuals and other coalition subjects with 7.2% with a margin of error of 0.82 percent. The Coalition for Families received 2.4 percent, with a margin of error of 0.21 percent. "The Serbian List received 5.4 percent with a margin of error of 1.68 percent and the political entity For Freedom, Truth and the Municipality received 0.6 percent of the votes, which based on the results guarantees them a seat in the Assembly," said Cakolli.
