After the match, coach Pep Guardiola spoke about the future of captain Kyle Walker. He revealed that Walker had asked to leave the club.
"He went to talk to the club. He wants to explore his options, so it might not happen, we don't know. Let him explore his situation, I respect that. I am more than grateful for what he has done for us over the years. I honestly don't know what will happen," said Guardiola.
Kyle Walker has been out of the starting lineup this season, which is one of the reasons he wants out. There is interest from Saudi Arabia for Walker.Walker joined City from Tottenham in 2017 and has since won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one Champions League.
