The dream of many generations and generations for a free and independent Kosovo became a reality on February 17, 2008, when Kosovo declared its independence. Today, Kosovo marks the 17th anniversary of independence. Some citizens of the country share how they see Kosovo's journey in these years.

Alnurit Azemi says that he sees Kosovo's journey developing step by step, as he says "like a child growing up, but Kosovo could have done better if its leaders had been at the right level."

Another citizen, Venhar Isufi, says that there are positive changes in Kosovo, but according to him, the country needs to work more on economic development, opening new jobs, and preventing youth migration.

While Shaban Beqiraj compared the situation in Kosovo when it was occupied before the war and now. Beqiraj says that there is a big difference in the economic and social aspects.

Meanwhile, to mark this date in Kosovo, Albanians from different lands have come, such as Erxhan Iseni, who says he came from Gostivar, Macedonia, especially for the manifestation of the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.

Today, on the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, citizens proudly celebrated this day, remembering all those who sacrificed much to achieve this day, who are the martyrs of the nation who did not spare their lives to achieve Kosovo's freedom.
