LDK MP Hykmete Bajrami has responded to Vetëvendosje MP Armend Muja regarding the debate on single-source contracts.

Deputy Bajrami has called Muja "slanderous" and "accused of bribery for accreditation of private colleges".

"This other slanderer Armend Muja has been accused of bribery for the accreditation of private colleges. The same person was never declared innocent, but his case was out of date, so he became a member of the LVV. So this is the one who slanders and accuses me. Send the cases to the Prosecutor's Office because I have never been accused nor have I ever been under investigation", Bajrami reacted on Facebook.

A few hours ago, the deputy of the Vetëvendosje movement, Armend Muja, presented the data regarding the debate on single-source contracts for tenders in a press conference.

Deputy Muja has mentioned the value and percentage of contracts from one source over the years, where he also mentioned former minister Hykemete Bajrami. According to him, in 2008 and 2015 there was a record number of single-source contracts.

During the presentation of the figures, the chairman of the Budget Committee, Muja, said that according to the data of the KRPP, it appears that the number of contracts with a negotiated procedure "in the mandate of the Kurti Government has been halved, when compared to previous governments".
