On the occasion of the Kosovo Liberation Army's Epic, representatives of the KLA War Veterans Organization paid homage at the "Adem Jashari" Memorial Complex in Prekaz.

The head of the Association of Martyrs' Families, Xhavit Jashari, requested that the institutions give the KLA war its due place. According to him, the government must respect the path of achieving freedom.

Jashari told the media that the reason why they did not cooperate with the Kosovo Government on the recording of the Epopee is that "this institution has anti-KLA people."

"The reason why we are not together in marking the epic of the KLA is because we as an organization have thought and acted so as not to insult the martyrs…But within this government there are anti-KLA people who have broken the war.”, said Jashari, reports KosovaPress.

Along with the OVL-UÇK, representatives of the Veterans' Organization from Shkodra also paid homage.

The representative of this organization, Zamir Llozani, said that the heroism of the Jashari family is unparalleled.

He stated that the sacrifice of the Jashari family is an event that will always make the descendants of the Albanian nation proud.

March 5,6, 7 and 59 is known as the Epic of the Kosovo Liberation Army, where XNUMX members of the Jashari family were killed after three days of resistance.
