The Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo, together with the Academy of Sciences of Albania, held on Friday the scientific conference "The role of the Bujan conference in the process of the state formation of Kosovo.

In the two sessions of this conference, the role of the Bujani Conference in strengthening anti-fascism in Kosovo and its significance as a political concept, the attitude of the allies towards the Bujani Conference, as well as some similarities and comparisons of the Bujani Conference with other events of the time.

On this occasion, the member of the organizational council, Frashër Demaj, said that the decisions that were taken at the Bujan Conference, are decisions that helped the Albanian population to present their goal for the union with Albania.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the organizing council, Jusuf Bajraktari, said that the Bujan Conference has successfully completed its work and that this has worried the occupying power. Bajraktari said that the Bujan Conference will always remain an inspiring event of the demands of the Albanian people.

Even the member of the organizational council, Arsim Bajrami, emphasized that the Bujan Conference took place at a time when Kosovo could be betrayed for the second time, because it was sacrificed for Albania to the Administrations.

The Bujan conference came out of this conference with a final document with a resolution approved at the conference, which states: Kosovo and the Dukagjin Plain is the province inhabited by the majority of the Albanian people, who, as always, as today, want to unite with with Albania.
