Buying a property in Shkodra, Albania, today is much more difficult than a year ago. This is due to the significant increase in prices. If three years ago an old apartment cost 800-900 euros per square meter, now a new construction costs over 1200 euros.

One of the reasons is that the increase is due to a lack of construction permits.

The highest demand for purchases, according to data from Real Estate Agencies in Shkodra, is mainly from emigrants to Europe who want to invest their assets in properties in their homeland.
