The Albanian Superliga has returned to action today, when the opening match of the fifth round of this season has ended.

After a full 90 minutes of play at the "Selman Stërmasi" stadium, Tirana has suffered a minimal 1:0 home defeat from Erzeni, KosovaPress reports.

The only goal of the match was scored by Bekim Maliqi, who secured the victory for Erzen in the 18th minute.

This was the first loss of the new season for the champion, who after five games has three wins, one draw and one loss.

With the new points, Erzeni climbs to the second place in the table with eight points, two less than today's opponent, Tirana, which occupies the first place in the Albanian Super League.

The final result of the match, 1:0 in favor of Erzen.
