The chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI), Ali Ahmeti, has said that it is not good that the relations with the USA and the EU have cooled, since according to him, without the help of the allies, it is difficult for Kosovo to join NATO.
In a ceremony organized by the president of AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, on the eve of Veteran's Day, the president of DUI said that together with the allies, Kosovo was liberated, therefore, according to him, a much greater unity is needed.
The president of AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, said that in recent years there have been many challenges for our country, hoping that next year, together on this day, the comrades-in-arms who are unjustly in The Hague will be present.
The chairman of OVL UÇK, Faton Klinaku, said that Veteran's Day is defined by law, therefore this day should also become institutional.
According to the Law on KLA war veterans, Veteran's Day is marked on December 30, to commemorate the sacrifice, commitment and contribution of veterans to bring freedom and independence to the people of Kosovo.
This day also brings to our memory the first battle of the family of the legendary commander Adem Jashari in Prekaz, on December 30, 1991, where the road to freedom began.
On this day, Prekazi, Gllogjani and all the hotbeds of war, which resisted the Serbian military machine and did not bow down to victory, will be remembered forever.
