Agricultural exports continued the upward trend during the month of July in Albania.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj announced today that "in the month of July, 58 tons of exports were recorded worth 113 billion ALL and an increase of 4.5% compared to a year ago. In July last year, 25 tons of exports were recorded.
"Albanian productions are expanding more and more in foreign markets, reflecting the increase in quality and the empowerment of farmers in the country", said Denaj.
Exposure of our country as a tourist destination and supporting policies for farmers have increased the value of agricultural production in foreign markets.
The main agricultural products that Albania exports are medicinal plants, fresh and processed vegetables, olive oil, essential oils, watermelons, fruits, canned fish, etc./ATSH
