Police units of the Capital Directorate have arrested today a person suspected of counterfeiting money.

The person was arrested just a few minutes after the police received information that he had attempted to make a payment with counterfeit money.

At the time of the arrest, the suspect was in a passenger taxi, where he attempted to hide counterfeit money, approximately 3 thousand euros in 200 euro banknotes, which were found and seized by the police.

Kosovo Police have launched investigations into the case, while the suspect has been taken into custody, reports KosovaPress.
