Police investigators in the Capital today arrested a suspect for whom there is reasonable suspicion that he was involved in at least seven cases of robberies and attempted armed robberies in Pristina.

According to the police, these cases have occurred recently in the capital. "The suspect, by a decision issued by the state prosecutor, has been placed under police detention for 48 hours," the police announced.

It is further stated that investigative work is currently continuing in coordination with the Regional Investigators, to fully clarify the suspicions raised about the suspect's involvement in several other cases that are being investigated by the police.

Meanwhile, an attempted robbery occurred today at around 10:40 am, at a microfinance institution in Pristina, more precisely behind the National Theater, where the suspect entered the facility with a gun, glasses and a hat and demanded that the two employees give up all the money.
