Kosovo Police arrested a person in Peja today and seized 9 counterfeit dollars, after a citizen reported that he had accepted the amount of money in the name of repaying a debt for the purchase and sale of cars.

The arrested person, whose identity has not been disclosed, is accused of committing the criminal offense of counterfeiting money.

After being interviewed in the presence of his defense attorney, by decision of the prosecutor, he was remanded in custody for 48 hours, reports KosovaPress.

The investigation is ongoing and all necessary actions are being taken to fully clarify the case.
