Five people were injured in a helicopter crash in Pecatu, located in the South Kuta area of Bali, Indonesia, on Friday.

According to the National Search and Rescue Agency BASARNAS, three people on board suffered serious injuries, while the other two received only minor injuries.

In addition to the pilot, there were four people on board, two of them Australian citizens.

It is learned that the three seriously injured people were taken out of the helicopter by search and rescue teams and transferred to the Siloam hospital in the region. /AA
