On January 31, 1997, one of the first major battles of members of the Kosovo Liberation Army took place.

The three strategists, Zahir Pajaziti, Hakif Zejnullahu and Edmond Hoxha were traveling from Prishtina in the direction of Vushtrri, until their group is discovered by the Serbian security, who had laid an ambush in the village of Pestovë, where the three heroically fall in the fight with them.

Zahir Pajaziti started his military activities during the 90s. In the circumstances created during the general strikes in Kosovo held on September 3, 1990, Zahiri and other activists began working to establish an insurance network in Kosovo.

As a result of this work, Zahiri and the activists of Orllan create the Headquarters of the Guerrilla Unit in Orllan, writes KosovaPress.

In 1991, after the illegal activities in Kosovo began to be coordinated with the legal Zahiri, he went to Albania for military purposes.

When he returned to Kosovo in 1992, his group was discovered and Zahir had to go underground for several months.

Until 1992 he contributed to the armament supply of the headquarters set up in the vicinity of Orllan.

During 1994, Zahiri began to engage in other parts of Kosovo to establish the KLA. Thus, he is one of the founders of the General Staff of the KLA and its member from the beginning, from where the coordination of political and military activities begins.

Zahiri stands out at this time as an excellent organizer and implementer of guerrilla attacks on Serb forces in Kosovo, especially in the Llap region.

For all his activity, the biggest help was given by his cousin Fadil Pajaziti who was a businessman and he had almost all the financing from him.

On January 31, 2008, on the 11th anniversary of the fall, the President of Kosovo, Fatmir Sejdiu, awarded Zahir Pajaziti the highest state decoration of Kosovo, the Order of the Hero of Kosovo.

Zahiri was the leader of one of the major branches of the war, which then, naturally, was merged into the Kosovo Liberation Army. Being the leader of one of the major branches of the war, he was also one of the co-founders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Edmond Hoxha was a Junik who intended to create new dimensions of his family or Kosovo tradition.

Since at the age of six, when he was still a child, he had witnessed the handcuffing and imprisonment of his older brother, Xhavit, and since he had seen from this that there was pain, but there was no breaking, he had decided to become a pillar of unbreakability, no matter how painful this had been.

Edmond was the student between the desire to become a military man and the man of science, the young man who had chosen to lead a different and yet incredibly youthful life; perhaps more than anything he would set out on a path that his people had paved, with all the pain it had carried, with all the bloodshed they had experienced and would experience.

Hakif Zejnullahu has a contradiction between his silence and the work done by him. If the silence is extraordinary, the work is also extraordinary. It is one of the most special cases of the war, when an important figure like him stood, with a deep naturalness, in the place assigned to him, as the deputy of Zahir Pajaziti and his assistant, and all this was very silent.

Hakifi and Zahiri were not just grandchildren and uncles, but they shared everything virtuous.
