Today marks 26 years since the heroic fall of the martyr and hero of the nation Bedri Ahmeti-Bedi from Llapashtica e Podujeva.

Bedri Ahmeti-Bedi came from Germany to Kosovo in 1998, where as a member of the KLA he participated in many wars in Dukagjin, Drenica, Llap, etc., reports KosovaPress.

He was a great warrior and commander with the nickname Bedi. He was martyred, fighting, on March 24, 1999.

Bedriu had been active in the diaspora before joining the KLA. With the start of the war in Kosovo, he returned from exile and joined the ranks of the KLA.
