The Kosovo Police has confiscated a significant amount of contraband tobacco and cigarettes in the border area with Serbia, Korminjan - Ranilluk Municipality.

The goods were found during an inspection today in a tractor with an improvised trailer, which was driven by a citizen of Serbia.

On this occasion, processed tobacco in Marlboro, Winston, Camel, Lucky Strike packages weighing from 500 grams to a total of about 250 kg, Trokadero Slim 50 cigarette boxes, King 50 boxes, Red Corset 50 boxes, were found confiscated. Blue Corset 50 boxes and Trocadero 50 cigarette boxes - 250 total.

The value of the goods in the market is about 8.500 euros, while the avoidance of tax and excise is about 13.000 euros.

The goods and the vehicle are sent to the customs terminal until the case is processed for treatment at the relevant police units.
