Today marks 25 years since the massacre between February 3 and 4, 2000 in northern Mitrovica, in which the 'Bridge Guards' killed 10 Albanians, including children, women and the elderly, injured many others, and expelled around 12 Albanians, who were forced to cross to the south, leaving behind their burning homes.
The KMLDNj had said that all these killings took place in the presence of French KFOR soldiers and international police.
Otherwise, on the night between February 3 and 4, Nezir e Shqipe Voca, Niman Sejdiu, Bashkim Rrukeci, Sebiha Abrashi, Selime Berisha, Muharrem Sokoli, Nderim Ajeti, Nerimane Xhaka and Remzije Canhasi were killed.
According to witnesses, the killing operation was led by the Serbian Ministry of Interior, led by former commander Dragan Delibašić, Oliver Ivanović and others.
