The Kosovo Police has announced that a 21-year-old person has died as a result of the accident on the Pristina-Mitrovica national road.

On November 6 at around 22:00 p.m., the police in Mitrovica received information that on the national road Pristina-Mitrovica, in the village of Pestovë in Vushtrri, an accident with serious injuries occurred involving a vehicle with local license plates.

"The injured person was sent for medical treatment, but around 00:40 on 07.11.2024 the police was notified by the emergency department of the KKUK, that as a result of the injuries sustained in the accident, the injured person aged 21 was lost life", says the announcement.

Regarding the case, the guardian prosecutor was notified and by his order the dead body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy.
