As part of the "Not a Cent More" campaign, which aims to oppose the increase in the price of electricity in Kosovo, activist Dibran Hoxha threw a cake at the chairman of the board of ERO, Ymer Fejzullahu.

"15% is not enough. No pasarán! After numerous requests from citizens, we have decided to 'sweeten' the chairman of ERO with 15%. Mr. Ymer likes cakes with the owners of KEDS, so of course he must also like the cakes of the citizens. Congratulations!", says the press release issued by the organizing group "Asnji Cent Ma Zumu".

The Energy Regulatory Office has announced that based on the results of its consultative report on maximum allowed revenues, the average increase in tariffs for consumers is expected to be 15 percent.

The increase in the price of electricity has been opposed by citizens, businesses, and opposition parties.

The increase in energy bills is considered to harm citizens and businesses, while it is said to directly affect the deterioration of their well-being.

The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed with great concern the warning of the Energy Regulatory Office, regarding 15% increase in electricity prices.

This decision is considered to have been made without proper consultation with businesses and without a proper analysis of the consequences that this increase could bring to local producers.
