FC Sion have signed Pajtim Kasami until 2026. The 32-year-old midfielder joins Valais from Sampdoria. Kasami, born and educated in the canton of Zurich, has had a rich international career from a young age.

He played in England, Italy and Greece and made over 40 appearances in the European Cup and the same number of appearances in the Premier League, KosovaPress reported.

In Switzerland, he initially played for Winterthur, GC, Bellinzona and Lucerne before playing for FC Sion and FC Basel in recent years. Pajtim Kasami has played in over 180 official Super League matches, scoring 44 goals and providing 23 assists.

"I have very good memories from my time in Valais. Returning to FC Sion fills me with pride. I thank my family for the trust they have given me," explains Pajtim Kasami. "I like the project and the dynamics. I can't wait to help the team achieve their goals," he added.
