On Friday, the new competitive edition of the Kosovo Superleague in basketball will start, with the eight participating teams already testing their capacities in the finals of the Kosovo Supercup, which in the end met Trepça.
Local basketball connoisseurs consider that the upper part of the table will have the same appearance as last season, with Trepca, Peja, Pristina and Golden Eagle Yllin as the teams aiming for the championship title.

Coach and analyst Ismet Ferati tells KosovaPress that Trepça is the most prepared team on the eve of the new season, while he estimates that Golden Eagle Ylli has the strongest organic composition.
Even for former basketball player Valentin Spaqi, what is known as "Top 4" (Trepça, Peja, Prishtina, Golden Eagle Ylli) will fight to the end for the title, but urges that Union and Brotherhood should not be underestimated.

Meanwhile, the former sports director of KB Peja and the manager of the Kosovo representative in basketball, Adriatik Rraci, has said that the 2023/24 edition in the Kosovo Superleague in basketball will be much better than last year's.
As for the issue of the presence of fans in gyms, Rraci announced that discussions are continuing within the Kosovo Basketball Federation and that a decision will be made soon whether they will be allowed in basketball matches or not.
