The spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, has reiterated that the EU considers that the formation of the Association should begin immediately, without delays and conditions. Derisa emphasized that they are carefully monitoring the situation in the north of Kosovo, and that they are closely following the case of the arrest of three Serbs suspected of war crimes.
At the press conference, Stano also said that the establishment of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority is an international obligation that Kosovo undertook, therefore, as he said, it must be delivered.
"The establishment of the Association should begin without further delays or preconditions", said Stano.
He said that the EU's point of view regarding the situation in the north of Kosovo was made known in the declaration of the 27 member states.

Regarding the arrests of the three Serbs arrested for war crimes in Kosovo, the EU spokesperson said that they are closely following the case and that if necessary they will react publicly.
