The chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti, has said that the murderous attack on the state of Kosovo and the country's police is an attack on the peace, stability and security of the entire region.
Ahmeti has condemned in the strongest form the attack on the Kosovo police and the killing of the officer, as well as the wounding of others this morning in the north of Kosovo.
"This serious provocation is intentional with a predetermined agenda, therefore it must be managed with coolness and wisdom because the consequences can be regional on peace and stability. These developments are unacceptable and coordination and cooperation with the international community, guaranteeing the peace and independence of Kosovo, is necessary and urgent. Immediate action is needed to extinguish the murderous and malignant fire that aims to expand and involve the country and the region. I express my sincere condolences to the victim's family and speedy recovery to the injured," he wrote.
