14 deaths and 701 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours in Kosovo. This was announced by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK). During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with RT-PCR method, as well as public and private laboratories with RAT method, were tested a total of 4,557 samples taken from UCHSK and tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 701 cases resulted positive.
The total number of positive cases is 99,536 cases out of 486,970 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 2,022. During the last 24 hours, 737 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 84,328 cases, while the number of active cases is 13,186.
