The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, has announced the restructuring of the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo, which according to her will be a national chamber. She said that the national chamber should align all businesses under one umbrella.
The Minister of MIET made these comments at the regional conference organized by the Chamber of Trade and Industry Kosovo, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Macedonia (OEMVP) and the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PKCG).
In front of the local and regional businessmen, Minister Hajdari said that only with regional cooperation can there be integration in the region, as according to her this is how Europe is also integrated. However, she emphasized that a strategy for vocational training is necessary, which would promote economic growth in the region.

“If we do not have an engaged and pro-active private sector, we will not have alignment of profiles with market needs. The manufacturing sector has many profiles that need more engineers. In this case, in regional cooperation, but first by restructuring the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo, which will be a national chamber, to bring you all together under one umbrella and in close cooperation with the countries of the region, we must as soon as possible very much to take the role of contributing to education and vocational training, because you have the competence and the opportunity to more easily bring economic growth and the transformation of our industry in the country and region”, said Hajdari.
Further, the Minister of MINT informed the attendees about the policies and economic indicators in Kosovo. According to her, Kosovo is showing that there is a development with a double-digit economic growth in 2021.
At the regional conference “Promotion of regional investments” held in Pristina, the host, the president of the Chamber of Trade and Industry Kosovo, Skënder Krasniqi, emphasized that the growth of economic and trade cooperation between the countries of the region strengthens the economies of these countries and promotes the growth of investments between our countries.
President Krasniqi also emphasized that every step related to closer regional cooperation contributes directly to increasing the possibility of integrating our countries into the European Union.

Also, for increasing the quality of education for market needs, which will follow with greater economic development and increased well-being for our countries… We must increase cooperation and benefit from our experiences in order to the productivity of our work increases… Every step that is related to closer regional cooperation contributes directly to increasing the possibility of our countries’ integration into the EU”, emphasized Krasniqi.
The senior leader in the Western Balkans Fund (WBF), Dafina Beqiri, emphasized that this project strengthens regional cohesion and empowers entrepreneurship.

In this regional conference, three discussion panels were held with representatives from the three countries, where the importance of education and vocational training, and the connection with the labor market, the offers of doing business that Kosovo, North Macedonia and Montenegro, and the viewpoint of the economic chambers on these topics were discussed.
