The Government, through the Ministry of Justice has drafted the letter which extends the EULEX mandate until 2014.
The Minister of Justice Hajredin Kuçi said that letter for EULEX will be voted firstly in the Assembly with 2/3 of the members of parliament, and then it will be sent to the President.
"Parliament must ratify it," said Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi to Express newspaper.
Kosovo institutions have explained the form on how they will request the extension of mandate of the Mission of the European Union Rule of Law in Pristina.

Then he explained that this letter will be sent to President Jahjaga, which will request Baroness Ashton to extend the mandate of largest Mission of EU countries in Kosovo.
"President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga will send this letter to Brussels," has added Kuçi.
