At the age of 82 Dr. Sami Mejzinolli has died, Gynecology Specialist - obstetrician, who until retirement had worked in UCCK.
Dr. Mejzinolli was born in Shala village of Lipljan Municipality, has finished the secondary school in Prishtina, while the Faculty of Medicine has finished in Skopje in 1967.

Dr. Mejzinolli was born in Shala village of Lipljan Municipality, has finished the secondary school in Prishtina, while the Faculty of Medicine has finished in Skopje in 1967.
He has finished the specialization of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1973 in Belgrade, a year later he was elected head of the Department of conservative Gynecology, also he was elected assistant of the subject of Obstetrics Gynecology.
In 1998 he received the Primarius title, he was among the first workers in 1990 that were violently fired from work by Serbian regime, while he was one of those who signed the "Appeal 215".
As reports the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK), dr. Sami Mejzinolli was participant of many professional meetings, conferences and congresses, he was kind for the staff and patients and his professional work, he educated generations of students, doctors and specialists, he also was an active participant in the National Liberation War.
However, the commemorative meeting will be held tomorrow at 10:00 in Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the UP, while the funeral is at 12:30 in Pristina cemetery.
