The director of the Emergency Center in UCCK, Basri Lenjani told Kosovapress that the change of temperatures increases the number of patients in this center. He added that the decease of temperatures from 27 to 13 Celsius, affects the health condition of people with chronic diseases, by saying that in this case, there is disbalance between the demands and needs of human organism.
In the last two days there number of patients in the Emergency Center has increased, and they request medical treatment as a result of direct impact of temperatures, which were around 27 Celsius few days ago and now they have decreased, and in this way there was created a disbalance of health condition of patients, Lenjani said.
He said that in the last 24 hours, over 130 patients have requested medical treatment in the UCCK Emergency Center. Whereas, there were as well patients with health problems in the cardiology, who had as well problems with blood pressure and respiratory problems.
