The member of the headship of trade union of PTK, also an employee in this company for 30 years, on this occasion said for the action that has started by which they will request the collection of signatures of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo against privatization of public enterprises, have the support of the majority of workers in these institutions, but also the support of trade unions, political parties and citizens.
"This is not the first time that we have opposed the privatization process, but now it was done massively and all trade unions associations, non-governmental organizations, oppositional parties, and many other citizens, have joined this petition against the privatization of PTK, KEC, Trepça, Airport, Railways and other public enterprises that have been privatized and have brought the workers in misery, where they work and operate, "he said.
Ramadan Makolli considers the privatization process in Kosovo as failed and harmful for the welfare of the citizens of Kosovo.
Therefore he considers that such privatizations do not honor anyone, on contrary they severely damage the country's economy.
"We oppose the privatization because we have seen the privatizations made so far and they have brought nothing else but misery and poverty to the population of Kosovo
", he said.
Also the citizens oppose the privatization of public enterprises in Kosovo and they consider this action of the Government as harmful for the country’s economy.
