Their selection was made by the Government Privatization Committee (GPC) of Telecom, with the confirmation by the transaction advisor, through a special assessment report.
On the basis of the decision of GPC, the five aforementioned companies have met the legal, technical and financial criteria defined in the call for pre-qualification, which are invited to participate in the tender for the purchase of 75% shares of the Telecom.
Criteria set out in the call for prequalification have enabled the prequalification of telecom operators and investment funds that have entered into cooperation agreement with the Telecom operators, or who have previously invested in major Telecom operators.
GPC should prepare other steps to open the tender for sale of shares of the Telekom, in which will be invited to participate the pre-qualified companies.
The tender is expected to be opened in early September and will stay opened about 2 months.
