In the premises of Dunav bank in Graçanica, in early morning hours the inspectors of the Central Bank of Kosova (CBK), accompanied by special units if the police, and they seized equipment and documents of this bank.

Firstly around six vehicles have blocked traffic in Graçanica, whereas the police special unit has provided security during the operation, reported Serbian media.
The work license was requested from the employees who were there, whereas they said that they do not have it, and inspectors have seized all documents for control. According to Serbian media, the CBK inspectors have seized as well the CD ROMs and left by saying that they will return there after verifying the materials.
At the same time, the employees of the Central Bank of Kosova, accompanied by police special unit, have controlled as well the office of this bank, which are located in Shterpce.
“The executive Board of the Central Bank of Republic of Kosova has authorized the staff of CBK to examine the financial activities without being licensed by CBK,” reads the press release of CBK.
According to the press release, the team of CBK examiners, assisted by Kosova Police, has visited this morning two locations on suspicion for financial activity that is not licensed by CBK.
“On the occasion of examining the location in the territory of municipality of Graçanica, the examiners have verified that the financial institution ‘Dunav banka A. D. Zveçan’ was performing unlicensed financial activity. At the same time, on the occasion of examining the location in the territory of municipality of Shterpce, the examiners have verified that the financial institution ‘Dunav banka A. D. Zveçan’ was performing unlicensed financial activity,” reads the press release.
