On this occasion, the prime minister Hashim Thaçi said that this is a special day, as according to him, by constructing infrastructure, Kosova is facilitating the path to Euro-Atlantic integration. “When we started this project it was just a dream and now it is becoming reality in the state of Kosova. This is being done thanks to the work of Kosova’s institutions and the Government will carry out all obligations for full completion of the highway and within the timeline,” Thaçi said.
On this occasion, the minister Fehmi Mujota said that this is an important day as four kilometers of the highway “Ibrahim Rugova” are open for circulation. On this occasion he confirmed that this year will be completed 60 km of the highway. The segment to Orllat is expected to be finalized until fall.
Minister Mujota also said that the highway towards Hani i Elezit will start as well.
