The analyses of Kosova Customs, which noticed that SharrCem factory was deceiving the customs officers by importing cement, were sealed with the fine towards this factory.
The officials of Kosova Customs confirmed to Kosovapress that SharrCem company was found guilty and it was fined with 10 000 euro.
The Kosova Customs, respectively the Commission for customs offenses, found the SharrCem company guilty on not declaring the tariff code on the goods that were imported last week, the information officer in Kosova Customs, Fellanza Nezimi told Express.
Nezimi said that according to Customs Code and Excises, by this decision the company has committed customs offense and it was fined.
This decision, which was taken on Wednesday, comes after the analyses noticed that SharrCem was importing cement and not raw material, as it had stated earlier. The analyses proved that SharrCem was trying to import cement in Kosova through the border with Macedonia. Over 10 trucks with cement have stayed for several days in the border with Macedonia, as Kosovar customs officers suspected that they contain cement and not raw material, as it was declared.
