Draft budget to be reviewed in Parliament

Following the meeting of the Government, the minister of Finances, Bedri Hamza said in a press conference that in one of previous meetings, was approved the review of the budget, whereas yesterday it was reviewed as well in the Commission for Budget and Finances, where it was supported by MPs.

He said that the aim of the review of draft budget is for budgetary organizations to show more flexibility, adding that this time the needs were from municipal government.

“The aim of the review of budget is to provide flexibility to budgetary organizations, for them to reflect the needs and priorities in movement within projects, especially of projects of capital investments, the needs and requests were more in municipal level. This review was discussed in details as well with IMF mission and now it is clear,” Hamza said.

He said that he expects it to be in first hearing in one of next sessions of the Parliament, before leaving on holidays, and to be available for budgetary organizations.

Moreover, today was approved the request of Organizations deriving from KLA war on prostheses and rehabilitation of war invalids, which is worth around 1.6 million euro. Whereas these funds will be allocated by each ministry.
