In setting of the cornerstone, the Prime Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi said that Kosovo as a new country provides great opportunities for investments, particularly in the energy field.
By setting of cornerstone of this hydroelectric power plant and by that existing one, which is Lumbardhi HPP, is expected that in Deçan Valley, to be produced electricity, where almost 50 thousand families in this region, could be supplied with electricity.
