The general director of “Devolli Group”, Xhelal Radoniqi said that the investment in this sector was done for two reasons.
According to him, the first one is for the importance of milk for health and the other one is that this sector offers more jobs than almost all other sectors.
“The first reason is that milk is important product for healthy food for citizens. In addition, with the local production of this product, we have aimed to decrease the dependence on import. Whereas the second reason is that this industry creates more jobs than other economic sectors,” Radoniqi said.
Whereas, the deputy prime minister of Kosova, Mimoza Kusari-Lila said that inauguration of this plant is one of the cases that shows that Kosovar products can compete even abroad.
“Production keeps sustainable jobs and it continues the sustainable economy. It is a great day that I am here due to the fact that it offers jobs and shows that Kosovar products can compete not only in Kosova, but abroad as well,” Kusari-Lila said.
