Kosovo Energy Corporation will take measures for workers who left work to participate in protest last week. Most endangered are those who work in manufacturing and distribution. Their salaries will be removed for two hours, as long as they were in protest. Unionists say that this is also another threat from management, says the "Express newspaper.
KEC workers chose the protest as a form of seeking their rights in the workplace. But with this action, not only they did not receive anything, but lost even more. The management of the Kosovo Energy Corporation is expected to punish those workers who left work to participate in protest last week organized by the Union of Workers of this corporation. As punishment, their salaries or money will be removed for two hours of work, as long as they stood outside the workplace.
Leaders of the Union of Workers KEC say it is an injustice to the workers, after protests are allowed on all union rules. And according to officials of the Corporation is not known what measures will be undertaken for this case.
For the President of the Union of Workers of KEC, Izet Mustafa, warnings for removal of salaries of workers, are another threat to them.
"The Management has made threats to the removal of salaries and charges against employees that had been participants in the protest", he said to the newspaper.
