According to this newspaper, the case of Grand becomes more complicated as the Privatization Agency of Kosova is facing difficulties and pressure from senior political circles, in this case from the first deputy prime minister of Kosova, Behgjet Pacolli. The latter has submitted invalid and not signed bank assurance in PAK and at the same time he threatens the investors. On March 16, PAK has requested from the joint-stock, Zelqif Berisha, Selim Pacolli and Nerimane Ejupi to submit the valid bank assurances until March 21, together with the proposal, which will be reviewed by Board of PAK on March 29.
The letter of PAK that was sent to them reads that they have received their statement, which suggests that persons who have signed would like to change the ownership structure of Grand Hotel in order to fulfill the conditions that are foreseen in the agreement of pledges.
On the same day PAK sent a letter to legal owner of Grand, Zelqif Berisha, which reads: We have received your letter where you have requested to postpone the timeline for return of stocks until reaching a final agreement with Limak company. We have received as well a letter from Limak Group, which confirms that you are still negotiating on buying Grand hotel.
