“When we say in Kosova and when the crisis is mentioned, we always consider that Kosova does not have such a big economic development, it has the need for more economic development, we know our difficulties with unemployment, poverty and high trade deficit, however the effects of the global crisis and Eurozone have limited impact in Kosova. One of the reasons is that Kosova does not have much access in financial markets, we are not at the level to be part of global financial markets. Now the crisis in Eurozone is more known as crisis of debts, and the countries that are in the crisis had very high public debt, fortunately Kosova’s public debt is low, among the lowest in the region, only 5.4%, therefore this is an advantage that Kosova is not in debts,” Hamza said.

Regarding the tax on property, he said that it will not be exactly 0.15%, however this will be the lowest one, and the mayors of municipalities will decide on additional tax, however IMF has recommended for 0.05%.
