The Kosovapress sources from the ground informed that until now 17 Serbs have been injured from the reply of KFOR forces towards Serb extremist, out of which 7 are in critical health condition. Whereas the KFOR forces still have not given new information in addition to previous report on four injured persons.
It must be emphasized that KFOR troops are shooting only in self-defense, as the Serb extremist are attacking with fire arms the soldiers in the border crossing point Jarinje.
Whereas, since morning hours KFOR has arrested several persons who used the alternative roads near Jarinje. The head of the territorial defense in Leposaviq, Radomir Bogdanovic is among the arrested persons.
Kosovapress has learned that the scenario of today’s events in Jarinje is a result of meeting that was held between the heads of parallel structures in north Kosova with Tomislav Nikolic and one of higher representatives of Serbia’s army, which was held on Sunday in Belgrade.
According to these sources, this meeting was not participated by parallel mayor of Leposaviq, Branko Ninic and the so-called head of Mitrovica district, Radenko Nedelkovic.
The situation is tensed and gunshots are heard occasionally, whereas additional KFOR forces are noticed in that place, which are observing the situation by helicopters.
Last night KFOR troops started removing the barricade, respectively the gravel that was placed by Serbs, and in this way they blocked the main road near the border crossing point Jarinje.
